Had a wonderful shopping experience with a staff member. Her name is Virginia. We were in the window treatment section. She went over all the possibilities for my needs. Once I get the exact measurements for the windows, I will definitely be coming back to order from her.
We needed a new water heater and decided to try Lowe's due to the 10% off for Veterans. We waited while 3 different people paged for us. Then, after 35 minutes they said no one was working in plumbing. I went to a 3rd desk and they helped us but took a long tine because it was not their department an needed to call manager for advise. The next day after the plumber came to the house, I called to order the service and pay for it, we got the paging run around on the phone and was told no one in plumbing and then cut off. Went to the store and the paged a few times before service said o wait a few minutes. After 1/2 hr they said some one would help us. It was the guy who paged someone the first time. I took another 45 minutes for him to tell use the estimate and he was still unsure. He did call us later in the evening but by that time we had arranged for PSE&G (over the phone- great service) and it was changed the next day. I have never seen such poor customer service as I experienced at Lowe's. The people were pleasant but pretty useless.
If a customer steals, they will call the cops, but they can steal without consequence. I ordered an item to be picked up in the store. The store called and told me that they couldn't fulfill the order. So I assumed the money would be deposited back to my gift card. Twenty days later, when I was trying to order another item, I noticed that they didn't deposit the money back. I called customer service, and they couldn't do anything other than talk to the local store to send me a gift card. The store manager arrogantly asked me to come to the store to get the money they took from my gift card. He wouldn't ship the card or email the card. I don't know how many customers who used their gift card at this store, and had their money not returned. If this is not a case for class action, what would be? I am already on phone for 1+ hr trying to get the money.
Our company spends over 150 thousand dollars a year with Lowes. This company has false advertised and we are contacting the local governing agency. They claim to offer you quantity discounts and they never have the quantities. THE LAW IS RAIN CHECK AND THEY DISOBEYED THIS LAW. This is criminal. The store manager canceled, WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION, a 600 dollar order. Totally unprofessional. I would avoid this store at all measures. I will personally swear out the criminal complaint against the manager.
They offered no apologies, no store credit, and no reason for why this occurred, they simply called and told us they were not able to keep their service promise and to deal with it.
Ordered a Fridge from these guys 3 weeks ago. Was supposed to be delivered tomorrow, Wednesday, before the Thanksgiving holiday. We are hosting our entire family and the sales associated promised us we would have our fridge delivered by tomorrow when we were in-store making the purchase. We got a call today and were told they sold our fridge (from stock) and they didn't have ours to deliver anymore. They said we cannot get our fridge delivered until a later date. We already paid for this item in full.
Thanks for ruining the holiday Lowes! Your incompetence strikes again. I hope your business fails and you all find yourselves in the unemployment line. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
