While visiting NJ, I happened upon the Flirty Cupcake truck near Millinium Park and bought the Oreo cupcake. Lordy, it was like chocolate heaven!! The frosting was the lightest, not-too-sweet, most delicious buttercream frosting i ever had. The cake part was an extra deep, dark chocolate and very moist. The lady in the truck was so nice too! My only regret is that i didnt buy more since now I'm on the train and heading back to Michigan. Thank you for such a delectable treat.
Lousy! All the positive reviewers I would bet have never been to Calandra's or any old family bakery in the New York Five Boroughs. It's just OK if you don't have another choice but apparently there's a shortage of choices in Woodbridge. Dunkin Donuts is better.......
I was looking for a cake and was recommended to come here. I ordered a tres leches cake for my boss. The half sheet cake fed about 40 people and there was even leftovers (but not for long). We celebrated my boss's birthday in the company and everyone that had a piece absolutely LOVED the cake. The CEO of the company even took a big piece of it home to his family. It was super moist, not too sweet and it had strawberry and banana with a creamy filing. This was my first time buying a cake from Dorsi's but needless to say it won't be my last. Amazing cake and super friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
My family has been going to Dorsi's for 40 years. I have long since moved away but on a trip back to NJ for my 40th high school reunion, I stopped in again for all kinds of sweet treats. It has gotten better than I remember.
